OSAAT #89 Anything Goes!

Before I show you my card for the new challenge over at ONE STITCH AT A TIME there is some great news from SITCHY BEAR DIGITAL STAMPS on Monday 28th November they are having a CYBER MONDAY half and half sale 10am to 10pm (GMT) half the day for 50% off half the price! Sounds like a great bargain to me just what's required at this expensive time of the year.
Any how this weeks challenge at OSAAT this week is Anything goes and our sponsor is ...

For my card I used a digi image from Jessica at Floppy Latte Designs called 'Fairy Moon'

The digi image is in silhouette but I couldn't resist trying to add a bit of colour to the black silhouette so I coloured the moon blue with blue sparkly pen added a bit of texture then coloured the stars in purple sparkly pen and finished by adding little clear sparkly gems to the end of the stars. So if you ever think you can't do much with a black silhouette digi have a go at altering one you never know what kind of effects you could come with.

THANK YOU ...

Over at CRAFT YOUR DAYS AWAY the new challenge has been posted.  Challenge #6 has been set by DT teamie Jackie. Jackie has decided to give you all a recipe to follow:

                                                              1 CIRCLE  (at least)
                                                              2 PAPERS
                                                              3 RIBBONS

The sponsor for this challenge is Shelley of ONE STOP CARD CRAFTS with a chance of winning £10 gift voucher to spend in store.

My card is a Thank You card using one of my favourite images of this year. I'm not so sure about the bow but time was very short this week and my mojo is floundering a bit! Anyway why don't you take up the challenge and show us what you can do with the recipe. To help you with some inspiration take a look at the other DT projects they are all very different. Don't forget to add GD to your name if you would like to be considered for the Guest Designer spot for challenge #8.  The Guest Designer for Challenge #6 MARY LOU has made a fabulous easel card pop over and have a look at.

Thank you for taking the time to visit.

DIGI MADNESS!

DIGI MADNESS is the new challenge theme over at ONE STITCH AT A TIME If you have collected a supply of digi images or papers and not had a chance to use them then now is the time to do it or even if you are a die hard rubber stamper then why not give it a go just for a bit of fun. There is a great prize from our fabulous sponsor this week CRAFT BRULEE a new online arts and crafts shop. If like me you love flowers, lace and ribbon then you will want to win the $10 voucher to spend in the shop.
For my card I decided to use digi papers I am still very new to digi paper I have only ever used it once before so thought it was about time I had another go and this time I was absolutely delighted with them. The digi papers are by Crafty Chaos Design the set I have used is called 'Cafe Creme' I have only used three papers out of the set for my card. I love Butterfly's so used the butterfly paper as my base colour I ripped the paper and placed a piece of the pink flower paper underneath I have used a metallic rubbon on the edges of the torn paper then finished off that part of the card by placing an off cut of lace. On the left hand side of the card I have placed little pearls on some of the butterfly's. I cut an oval shape from contrasting card, distressed the edge of the card before cutting a smaller oval from another of the papers from the Cafe Creme paper set and printed the sentiment on my PC, finished off by adding butterfly's punched from the same contrasting card. To finish I added ribbon a button, wiped some brown ink and doodled gold stitches around the edge of the base card.
You can purchase Crafty Chaos Design digi papers from STITCHY BEAR STAMPS and for even better value for your money there is currently 30% off sale in the shop.  Next week in the Stitchy Bear Stamps shop there will also be the introduction of some new creators so keep looking in to find out who they are!

Thank you for taking the time to visit my wee blog I hope you will pop over to One Stitch at a Time challenge blog and have a look at what all the rest of the Team B DT have created, there is plenty of inspiration there!

There is two images up for grabs this week, the DT Team at Magical Crafts Fortnightly Challenge have been busy as always producing some fantastic work, so much variety too, just goes to show images can be used for a whole range of creations!
