There are two sponsors for this challenge our usual monthly sponsor SEWNTogether the winner will get to choose 5 digi stamps the other sponsor for this challenge is HOBBY HABITAT the winner will win a fantastic prize of die Cuts and Frames. Hobby Habitat is a fabulous wee craft shop I have had a quick look and there are some great craftiness in that shop I will be heading over there to make a purchase or two myself. Angela at SEWNTogether very kindly let the DT choose one of her fabulous digi stamps to use on our very first DT card I chose '1 Baby on the Moon' I fell in love with this digi stamp when I saw it so new this was the one I had to use. We are due to have a new baby boy in the family he should be making his appearance any day now so this card was made with the new baby in mind. I have managed to fit all three Lace, Ribbons and a Bow on to my card you can't get enough of either in my book! I hope you will pop over to ONE STITCH AT A TIME and  have a look at all the great projects the other members of Team B have created with Angela's digi stamps and that's not all there is also a huge 30% of at STITCHY BEAR STAMPS so have a look there too there is some excellent craftiness there too.

BABY BOY OR A BABY GIRL?

After making a card for a colleague who left work last week to have her baby I was asked to make a card for when the baby arrives. As I don't know the sex of the baby I have made one for a boy and one for a girl. We will find out on Wednesday what she has as she will be going in for a section. Good luck Fiona we will be thinking about you.

Baby Card

A work colleague is leaving at the end of the week to have her first child which means I get to make a baby card which doesn't happen very often. I bought the Penny Black stamp when I was at the SECC a few weeks ago I think it is soooo cute I love that ickle Hedgehog with his wee teddy bear hanging over the edge of the hammock.

New Baby

This is a new baby card I made for a forum challenge. Nina Ruth was born just before Christmas, welcome to our family Nina. I had all the pieces cut out and everything ready to stick down and still went spectacularly wrong! There should have been another piece of the pale green paper with spots in between the pram and the pink card. Unfortunately I discovered my mistake after I had firmly glued down the pink buttons and the cut out pram so there was no going back. To try to give some contrast to the pram and the pink card I blended some green chalk over the pram, I also outlined the pram with silver pen to give some more definition. You can't see the backing paper the flash on the camera has saturated the card. The daylight is so poor just now taking a photo without the flash just doesn't work.

Birth of Twins

I was asked to make a card for someone who's friend had twins. I have never made a card for twins before so was not so sure what to do. I made my own version of prams from glitter stack card and buttons. I stuck the prams and the buttons on the card with double sided foam tape so that the card was not entirely flat. I think adding the children's names helped to make the card more personal. The person I made the card for was really pleased with it. I really hope the Mum liked the card too.
