A BIRTHDAY AND ANOTHER CHALLENGE
I had to make a card for my sister who has a birthday this week so decided to make it fit with the One Stop Craft Challenge (link on my side bar) Challenge #66 is a colour challenge APPLE GREEN, CHOCOLATE and CLOTTED CREAM.
The brown paper is Basic Gray 'Granola' the rubber stamp is 'Swimsuit Girl' by Lost Coast Designs. I used my promarkers to colour her hat and swimsuit and wrote over the top of the words and sentiment with a green metallic pen then drew faux stitching around the edge of the card. I threaded some green ribbon through the top of the lace, inked the edge of the stamped image and green mat with Jumbo Java by Versa Magic. Flower and pearls from my craft stash.

MAGICAL CRAFTS CHALLENGE # 7
Magical Crafts Fortnightly Challenge number 7 is VALENTINE'S yes Valentine's day will soon be here so we would like to see your projects with Valentine's in mind. This week we are proud to be sponsored by SUNSHINE STAMPS the winner of this challenge will win three SUNSHINE STAMPS images, pop over to Magical Crafts to see all three images and to see how the DT have used them in there projects.
My project is a gift envelope I made one or two of these at Christmas time and put money gifts in the little envelopes. I have also used them for CD's with photo's or special music for family. The gift envelope is made using one sheet of 12 x 12 double sided paper. The money/gift envelope was made using blue card, I put it through the Cuttlebug to give it some texture and just added a little bit of colour in the centre of the flowers then tied some ribbon around it. Then finished with some hand made embellishments. I wanted to use the lips image which is one of Sunshine Stamps new images on my project but because the paper I have used is a bit busy I decided to use it on the back of the envelope I think it looks great, reminds me of when we used to send Valentine cards when I was at school, we always put S.W.A.L.K on the back of the envelope!
