Thank You @ Cardmadfairy

The challenge theme over at Cardmadfairy this week is 'Thank You' I decided not to do a card this time but make a little Thank You tag using Jenni's digi image 'Buttons' It is simply coloured with Promarkers added some coloured pearls and gems and finished off with a bit of ribbon and a paper rose and of course a Thank You sentiment.

A Tag for Christmas

This week our challenge over at Cardmadfairy's Digi Days is MAKE A TAG something I have not done very often, it made a pleasant change from all the Christmas card making of recent weeks. I was very lucky to have a digi image from our fab sponsor A Day for Daisies I just loved this cute image called 'Robin in Winter' I brought the picture right down to 2 3/4 Inches by 1 3/4 Inches the image has not lost any of the character I really like it! There is some sparkle added to the snow but it doesn't show up very well in this photo. The backing paper has hearts and snowflakes with tiny pearls added then finished off with a bit of lace some dark red roses and ribbon.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TAG

Challenge #39 over at One Stitch At A Time  this week is 'Your Fave Colour!' Our sponsor this time is Robyn at Outlaw Women Scrapbook Emporium.
You could win a $10 voucher to spend at the Emporium, there is some fabulous craftiness there to buy well worth joining the group.

First of all I really should apologies for the quality of the photo the colours are not true to life due to having to take the photo after work when it was dark so all the lovely gold colours are just not showing up properly in fact the mail box is looking green rather than gold even the ribbon, gold lace and glitter have lost their glimmer and sparkle. At least I have one less Christmas tag to make which is always a bonus.

The image is a digi image by Stitchy called 'got Mail' it is a great digi image and would look fab on a more traditional Christmas card I can just see a lovely wee Robin perched on there! You can purchase this image and lots more at Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps there are lots of fab creators over at the store with some fantastic digi craftiness for you to choose from.

I hope you will pop over to OSAAT there are great DT projects to get you mojo flowing.

Thanks you for visiting my wee blog I always very much appreciated any comments left.

OH CHRISTMAS TREE

Well it's time for challenge #8 over at CRAFT YOUR DAYS AWAY This time the theme is CHRISTMAS TREES the challenge this time is set by my fab teamie Lesley you can create anything you like as long as there is a Christmas tree somewhere on your project. The sponsor for this challenge is Charmed Cards and Crafts the winner will win two digi Bundles of the winners choice. There is also a free digi Image you can download for you project should you wish HERE Charmed Cards and Crafts have £10,000 worth of product on line so as you can imagine there is a huge choice.
For this project I have chosen to make a tag not something I have made very often. I started off with a plain white luggage tag, inked it with red and green ink through raffia lace cut a nestability and cut it in half before embossing with Swiss dots, inking again with red and green. added some black ribbon and white ribbon with white netting. I then stamped a piece of card with a stamp from Banana Frog and added some red beads then finished off with a ticket from Stitchy Stamps and maroon ribbon for the tie. Having to take the photo when I got home from work has not been a great success but working during the day makes taking photos when it's light difficult.

I hope you will join in this challenge the free digi is a fantastic Christmas tree I'm sure you will enjoy using.

Make sure you pop over to CYDA to see the brilliant projects the other DT team have made to inspire your creativity.

Edited:
Please make sure you pay a little visit to challenge 8's fabulous GD Jessica, Jessica has made two cards for this challenge and they are both very different you can visit Jessica's blog HERE don't forget to add GD to your entry name if you would like to be considered for a GD spot.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog.
