PAGE MAP CHALLENGE

Over on Crafting Corner Forum we had a Page Map Challenge which was to be about Christmas. My page has been chopped off at the bottom in this photo but I think you can get the just of it. My son asked for "Rock Band" for his Christmas this year the main photo is of him playing the drums. We all had a great laugh taking part in his band although I don't think the neighbours will have enjoyed some of the rock music I'm hoping they were out at the time! I have tried to make it slightly grungy but the flash on the camera has taken out some of the colour.

My Favourite Walk

I did this layout for a Just Bex challenge I didn't manage to complete in time. The challenge was to use as many papers as possible on a layout. The photo was taken on the pine walk in Puerto Pollensa I just loved this walk right on the sea shore. I drew then cut out the letters by hand as I don't own a die cutting machine.

Crafting Corner Map Challenge Number 2.

The Map Challenge was to follow the map and the layout was to be predominantly pink! The choice of colour was a good one for me as I had photo's of Claire going to do her first Race for Life which I had not got round to using as yet. Instead of using a flower in the bottom right hand corner I cut the image of what Claire had pinned to the back of her t-shirt out and stuck it to the layout with thick double sided tape to give it some depth. I did the layout on 12 x 12 card stock. I think it would have been better on a smaller layout. I have entered it now for the competition so there is no going back!

Crafting Corner Map Challenge

The September Map Challenge was to create the page map using autumn colours. They are a collection of photos which have some very happy memories of happy times spent on a visit to Cornwall, a day out to Glasgow Garden Festival, bath time, playing in his toy box and dressing up.

Using a map to make a scrap page is something I have never done before. It was quite a challenge because of the number of photos used on the one page! For me it works and I've managed to use all the elements on the original map.

I am looking forward to the next map challenge although I hope I can manage to take a better photo of it next time!
